🎈 Assassin'S Creed 2 Uplay Not Working

Ijust installed the Game today, and I made a Uplay account, and waited to get the game started. However, every time I open the game, Uplay does a connecting loop and I can't play the game. I don't know If I am supposed to enter a CD Key or Activation code, because I bought the game via Steam. Assassins Creed 2 suddenly not working on steam - uplay crashes with a "uplay launcher has stopped working" on login. Windows 8/8.1 . This is a fairly new problem for me. I've had All the AS2 games working on my windows 8/8.1 machines for a while, but recently (within the last two weeks), after a recent reinstall of windows (which wasn't Assassins Creed IV Black Flag. DLC Still not working. Started a support ticket with Ubisoft back on March 5, 2021. Many have had this issue. Ubisoft insists the issue is being investigated as a high priority. This url shows Ubisoft was aware of this issue back in September of 2020. They even claimed that the issue was fixed. It seems it wasn't. Listenup gents, I've been trying to get my game to work for about 300 years now and after Multiple installs of the game and a massive waste of my time and internet I've found how to fix most of the issues. if not all without re-downloading the whole game and its easy. 1. go through your computer and purge ubisoft AKA Uplay from your computer. Ijust got a brand new PC, but I've had a Steam account for 2 years and AC2 for about 4 months. I downloaded steam onto my new comp as well as U Play for AC2, but as soon as I hit the play button, it'll appear to start up, but then it doesn't. 1 Download Uplay (find it on there main website just google it) 2. Make an account with Uplay 3. Install Uplay 4. Launch Uplay 5. Sighn into Uplay 6. Go to the settings and keep it to auto sighn you in and keep you logged in 7. Save the settings 8. Click the x in the upper right cornor to close it out 9. Reinstall the game via steam 10. Maybeyou could retry step 1 or make sure you tried 2 and 3. Re-install Uplay Client - including backupping save games, uninstalling, downloading a current version and installing it "as Administrator". Update Drivers for your graphics card - just in case you haven't done it already. Thanksfor asking for help with a game bug in r/AssassinsCreedOdyssey.
